KITCHEN SCIENCE IN THE CLASSROOM
Join Professor Baloney or Dr Woo for their Wacky Science Parties. They use household substances for experiments the children can repeat for themselves. Everything involves easy to obtain items. The show is fun, but Professor Baloney is a qualified physicist, and Dr Woo is a working environmental scientist, so the kids will learn too. They will help out by becoming mad scientists themselves, learning and laughing at the same time.
SHOW ONE: Fun with Physics
Covering forces, electricity, gravity, surface tension - and messy experiments to illustrate these concepts.
SHOW TWO: Chemistry in the Kitchen
What happens when you mix an acid and a base? Can we make a gas, or blow up a bag of sugar? High energy home chemistry.
